L.A.M.P. Community Youth Programs
use music, sports and other activities to draw high risk teens and preteens and help
them learn to build productive lives. About 60% of these young people come by Juvenile Court mandate. 10-15% are
referred by their schools. The others are mainly friends of court and school referred youth who come because their friends

L.A.M.P. serves people from all races and ethnic groups. One strength
of L.A.M.P. programs is that it can serve Hispanic youth in a culturally comfortable and relevant setting and can reach Spanish
speaking youth and their families with staff members who know not just their language but their cultural traditions and the
differences within the Hispanic groups in our community.

Samaritain guide rates L.A.M.P. youth programs as Excellent
We appreciate this free site at Tripod. Because it
is free we have no control over the ads nor do we in any way promote, endorse, or have any association with what is advertised.
Some of the ads seem to be for youth programs that are very different from L.A.M.P. which may or may not offer real help to
troubled youth and their families.
